Fishing Industry NSW Inc. offers two types of membership, depending on your connection to the NSW commercial fishing industry.
We offer two membership tiers
Ordinary Membership
Renew/join before 31.08.26 – $500/yr
(from 1.09.26 – $700/yr)
For individuals who represent a NSW fishing business. Ordinary Members are the core voting members of the organisation. They can vote at general meetings, take part in Board elections, and stand for leadership positions. This membership type allows you to directly influence decisions and help shape the future of the industry. An Ordinary Member of the Association:
- is a person nominated to represent a fishing business in a NSW commercial fishery, and
- who has been approved for membership of the Association by the Board of the Association.
Associate Membership
Renew/join before 31.08.26 – $250/yr
(from 1.09.26 – $350/yr)
For individuals or organisations who are connected to or interested in the NSW fishing industry but are not representing a fishing business. Associate Members can attend meetings, participate in discussions, and stay informed about industry matters. However, they do not have voting rights and cannot hold official positions within the organisation. An Associate Member of the Association:
- is not an Ordinary member but is affiliated with the commercial fishing industry, and,
- who has been approved for membership of the Association by the Board of the Association.
